After I have signed up for Credit Monitoring, how do I activate the credit monitoring service? What if I don’t get an email with an activation code?

If you currently have Identity Services and Fraud Expense Coverages, you will receive an email, within 24 hours of enrolling in credit monitoring, from CyberScout containing an activation link to the enrollment website. Click on the link in that email and follow the instructions to complete your enrollment. Once you’ve completed the verification process, your credit monitoring will be activated. If your Identity Services and Fraud Expense Coverage has a future effective date and you enroll in credit monitoring, you will not receive the activation email until your coverage effective date. Otherwise, if you didn’t get an email, it is possible the SPAM blocker on your personal computer will re-route or block the email. You should check your SPAM folder to see if the email was re-routed there. If not, you can contact CyberScout at 844-548-0239 for assistance and to have the email resent to you.

I don’t have email. How can I sign up for the credit monitoring service?

Unfortunately, if you don’t have an email account, you cannot receive the credit monitoring service portion of the Identity Services and Fraud Expense Coverage. The only mechanism CyberScout (the company that monitors your credit report) uses is email. CyberScout will send emails to notify you of any activity on your credit report. If you don’t have an email account, you will not receive notification and the service would not be beneficial to you.
